Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Analytics: State Of Play
Cyber Security Awareness Month 2016 will be taking place on 9th October at Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology.
CSAM’16
Events Rules
1) Quizority:
• Team size: 2, single entry not allowed
• It is a general quiz, with one round having questions related to Information Security.
• Total 3 rounds will be there.
• Teams will not be allowed to use cell phones in the event arena.
• Teams will not be granted access to the Internet.
• Rules for each round will be disclosed on the event day itself.
2) Chain Reaction:
• Team size: 2, Single entry allowed.
• Teams will not be granted access to the Internet.
• Teams will have to use college infrastructure only.
• Teams will not be allowed to use cell phones in the event arena.
• For round 1, Teams will be required to provide answers to the clues.
• The clues/questions will be provided to them one after another i.e. to simulate a chain reaction.
• Top 5 teams will qualify for the round 2.
• Details of round 2 will be disclosed on the event day.
3) Incognito:
• Team size: 3
• Team need to solve cyber crime scene within given time.
• Teams will not be granted access to the Internet.
• Teams will not be allowed to use cell phones in the event arena.
• Best 6 teams will get qualified for the final round.
4) CISO’s Dilemma:
• Team size: 2
• There will be only 1 round.
• Teams will not be granted access to the Internet.
• Teams will not be allowed to use cell phones in the event arena.
• Participants are not allowed to use any props for the role play.
5) Poster Presentation:
• Team size: 2
• The participants need to choose any topic related to the CSAM’16 theme and based on it they need to send an ABSTRACT of 2 pages through E-mail.
• Based on their abstract, best 9 teams need to present the hard copy of their posters with size of 36 inches *48 inches on the event day.
